Why spend money on things you are not even using? It is time to clean up your bills by getting rid of subscriptions and memberships you no longer need. Consider cancelling things like gym memberships and cable to help make room for more money in your wallet for other things, such as retirement or an emergency fund.

Put Money Into a Savings Account

When you created your household budget for 2019, did you include a line item for savings? You should have!

Set up regular transfers from your checking account into a savings account, or have part of every paycheck direct deposited into savings. You need to be able to financially handle any emergency life may send your way.
